EGWD fire hydrant water will be attached to selected hydrant by lock and chain. Upon request, EGWD personnel may move the meter to a different hydrant, from which a removal and installation charge will be debited from the deposit.Meters that generate no consumption for two (2) consecutive months may be removed by the EGWD without notice.EGWD will determine if additional monies or a refund is due at that time or at the conclusion of the project.Call EGWD @ (916) 685-3556 for removal of the meter and closure of the construction water meter account.
